Sikh businesses, growing together.
Founders, business owners and professionals from the Sikh community, connected through one WhatsApp group and a meetup every two weeks.
Business, the way the Gurus taught us to live.
The network runs on three principles every Sikh grows up with. They shape how members trade, refer and help each other.
Kirat Karo · Honest work
Members do business with integrity. Fair prices, clear terms and work you can stand behind.
Vand Chhako · Share
Pass on leads, referrals, contacts and what you've learnt. When one member wins work, they look for who else can be brought in.
Sarbat da Bhala · Good of all
We measure success by how many Sikh businesses grow, not by how well one person does.
One group online. One table in person.
Conversations happen in the WhatsApp group every day. Every second week, members meet face to face.
The WhatsApp group
- Post what you need: a supplier, a service, a hire, a contact
- Share referrals and business opportunities with other members
- Get answers from people who have run a business before you
- Meetup dates and venues are announced here first
The meetup
- Introduce yourself and your business to the room
- Meet the people you've been talking to in the group
- Follow up on referrals and close the loop on asks
- Bring a guest from the community who should be a member
From request to your first meetup.

Members come from every kind of business. The more trades in the room, the more members can refer to each other.
Harmit Singh
Harmit Singh started Sikh Biz Network so that Sikh entrepreneurs could find each other, send business each other's way and back one another, the way the community has always done.
What began as a WhatsApp group now meets in person every two weeks.
Take a seat at the table.
Tell us about yourself and your business. Your request goes to the team on WhatsApp and someone will get in touch.
Sikh Biz Network is open to members of the Sikh community only. Every request is reviewed before anyone is added to the group.
Before you join
Who can join Sikh Biz Network?
Members of the Sikh community who run a business, are building one or work independently as a professional. Every request is reviewed by the team.
How often do members meet?
Every two weeks, in person. Dates and venues are shared in the WhatsApp group ahead of each meetup.
What happens at a meetup?
Members introduce themselves and their businesses, follow up on referrals from the group and meet new members. Come with business cards and a clear idea of who you'd like to meet.
What is the WhatsApp group used for?
Business asks, referrals, opportunities and meetup announcements. It is kept to business so members can act on what they read.
Can I bring a guest to a meetup?
Yes, if they are from the Sikh community and could join the network. Let the team know in the group before the meetup.
